Large CRMs need more than a merge button

Enterprise CRMs hold hundreds of thousands of records across regions, owners and integrations, and every change has to pass a security review and leave a trail. Native tools merge a few records at a time, and testing changes on live data is a risk. Dedupely is ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certified, merges in bulk, and records every merge and scan.

How Dedupely compares for enterprise CRMs

Criterion Native CRM tools Other dedupe tools Dedupely
Merging in bulk Most merge a few records at a time. Bulk merging needs a higher plan, or a request to support, in some CRMs. Most support bulk merging. Bulk merge with select-all, on every plan.
Testing before changing live data Some offer sandbox accounts, usually on their top plans. Some connect to a sandbox. Connect a Salesforce Sandbox. Scans, filters and merge previews never touch live data.
HubSpot–Salesforce sync A merge in one CRM doesn't update the other, so the sync can bring the duplicate back. Just one accounts for the sync. Merges the records in HubSpot and Salesforce in one action, so the next sync doesn't re-create them.
Choosing which values survive Most keep the primary record's values unless you pick them one merge at a time. Most offer merge rules, with varying detail. Field-level and Primary record-level win/lose Merge Rules.
Checking merges before and after In most, a merge can't be undone. Some keep deleted records for a short time. Most keep a merge log. Preview every merge first. Merge History keeps every original record, as a CSV.

Frequently asked questions

Is Dedupely secure enough for enterprise data?

Dedupely is ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certified. Admins set password rules and two-factor authentication for everyone in Company Settings, and the Audit Log records merges, scans, settings changes and logins. See the Security & Trust page for more on how data is handled.

Can we test in a Salesforce Sandbox first?

Yes. Connect a Sandbox to test your Duplicate Searches and Merge Rules, and to see how merges affect your Flows, Apex triggers and integrations before you work in production. Sandbox records count toward your plan like any other synced records.

How long does the first sync take for a large CRM?

It depends on size and your CRM's API limits. Databases of 300,000 to 600,000 records usually take 1–3 hours, up to a million take 3–10 hours, and larger ones 10–12 hours. After that, Dedupely refreshes in the background every 10–30 minutes.

Can we keep regional offices and subsidiaries separate?

Yes. Add a location field like City or Country, set to Exact, so offices with the same name or domain don't match, and reject the matches you want to keep apart. Rejected matches stay out of every future search for that object.

Can we see who merged which records?

Yes. Merge History keeps every merge, with the original records and the values that won, and exports to CSV. Admins see who ran each merge, and when, in the Audit Log, along with scans, changes to searches and rules, invitations and logins.
