Review
Review is where you decide how each uncertain match moves forward. Send the matches you're unsure about to Manual Review, reject the ones that aren't duplicates, and let your Safety Settings set aside the risky ones. The clear matches keep merging in the meantime.

How Review works
-
Set the uncertain ones aside
Send a match to Manual Review and keep merging the rest of your search.
-
Reject what isn't a duplicate
Rejected matches stop showing up in your searches.
-
Let Safety Settings catch the risky ones
Matches with too many records or example data go to Excluded Matches automatically. You can change the number of records per match for each object.
Where each match can go
Every match ends up merged, or in one of three places until you decide.
| Who sends it there | What you can do with it | |
|---|---|---|
| Manual Review | You, when you're not sure | Merge it, reject it, or remove it from Manual Review to send it back to your search |
| Excluded Matches | Your Safety Settings, automatically | Merge it yourself, reject it, or send it to Manual Review. Bulk merging and Auto Merge skip it. |
| Rejected Matches | You, when it's not a duplicate | Restore it any time with "Remove from rejected matches" |
Each tab lets you act on one match or select all of them at once.
Good to know
- Setting a match aside doesn't stop the rest. Merge the clear matches while the uncertain ones wait.
- Nothing is final until you merge. Send a match back to your search, or restore a rejected one, whenever you need to.
- Safety Settings are on by default. They set aside matches with more than 20 records (you can change the number for each object), example data or very short values.
- Bulk merging and Auto Merge skip Excluded Matches, so a risky match is only merged if you merge it yourself.
- Act on one match or all of them in any tab.
