TL;DR
- Partners clean their clients' CRMs from one account, with each client kept separate.
- Partners get 15% off the plan that all clients' synced records add up to.
- Adding a client never upgrades a partner's plan automatically, and going over is never charged.
- Partners decide whether to pass the cost to clients or include it in their fee.
- Dedupely gives partners a dedicated contact and unlimited 1:1 Zoom calls, chat and email.
If you implement, migrate or manage CRMs for clients, duplicates show up in almost every project. Some clients hire you for a one-off cleanup before a migration. Others keep you on a retainer, and duplicates are part of the data care you provide every month.
The Dedupely partner program is built for that work. You run every client's cleanup from one Dedupely account, with each client's data and rules kept apart. You also get a discount and a partner team behind you.
In this post, you'll see who the program is for and what partners get. You'll also see how pricing and billing work, how a client project runs and how to apply. Last, you'll see how it differs from the affiliate program.
Who the Dedupely partner program is for
The program is for people who deliver CRM deduplication as part of their services. That includes:
- CRM implementers and migration specialists, who clean data before and after a move.
- RevOps and CRM admins on retainer, who look after clients' data month after month.
- Teams that run campaigns from their clients' CRMs and need clean lists to work from.
- Solo consultants who take on cleanup projects for several clients.
There are no requirements to join beyond the application form. You can apply for one-off projects, ongoing work or both.
The program covers the account and the support around the work. For the cleanup itself, our post on CRM deduplication for consultants and agencies covers criteria, proof and reporting.
What partners get
One account for every client
A partner account holds all your clients, and each client is its own company in Dedupely, with its own searches, rules and settings. Dedupely never matches one client's records with another's. You switch between clients instead of logging in and out.
Your whole team can work in the account, with no per-user fees.
A login for your clients is optional. If a client wants to be involved, you can add them as an Admin or a User. They work inside your partner account and see only their own company.
A partner discount
Partners get 15% off the Dedupely plan their clients' records qualify for. The discount applies on top of yearly billing, and paying yearly saves you 20% compared to paying monthly.
A partner team
Each client project gets a dedicated contact on Dedupely's partner team. You also get unlimited 1:1 Zoom calls, chat and email, which helps when a client's data raises a case you haven't seen before.
How partner pricing works
Your plan is based on the total number of synced records across all your clients' CRMs. Records from every client and every connected CRM add up to one total, and that total decides your plan. Spreadsheets don't count toward it.
| Client | CRM | Synced records |
|---|---|---|
| Client A | HubSpot | 20,000 |
| Client B | Salesforce | 40,000 |
| Client C | Pipedrive | 30,000 |
| Total | 90,000, which falls in the Pro plan (up to 120,000 records) |
When a new client pushes your total past your plan's limit, Dedupely never upgrades you or charges you for going over. Up to 10% over the limit, you have 10 days to upgrade or turn objects off. After that, the account and every client in it become read-only until you do. Current plans and limits are on the pricing page.
Billing your clients
You hold the Dedupely subscription, so how you charge clients is up to you. Some partners pass the cost through to each client. Others add Dedupely to their own stack and include it in their fee.
Either way, deduplication is often a small part of a larger project quote. Our post on turning CRM deduplication into a billable service covers how to package it.
How a client project runs
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Connect | You connect each client's CRM separately, so you're the admin of that client's instance in Dedupely. Connecting needs admin rights in the client's CRM, and it never merges, edits or deletes anything. |
| Find | Duplicate searches and Dedupely Intelligence find the client's duplicates. |
| Decide | You set Merge Rules for which values win and preview each merge. |
| Merge | You bulk merge the backlog, or merge tested searches automatically on a schedule. |
| Report | Merge History records every merge, and its CSV keeps the original data and record IDs for your client report. |
| Bill | You bill the client, either passing the cost through or including it in your fee. |
A merge changes the client's live CRM, so treat it as permanent. That's why the preview and the Merge History matter as much as the merge itself.
How to apply
Applying takes a short form on the Dedupely partner page. It asks for your name, work email, company and role, plus the CRMs you work with. It also asks whether you do one-off projects, ongoing work or both.
Your partner account is set up within 48 hours. You then sign up for Dedupely with the same email and book a setup call with the partner team.
Partner program or affiliate program
Dedupely also has an affiliate program, for people who recommend Dedupely without running it for clients. The two fit different ways of working.
| Partner program | Affiliate program | |
|---|---|---|
| What you do | Clean your clients' CRMs yourself | Recommend Dedupely to others |
| Accounts | One partner account for every client | Each client has its own Dedupely account |
| What you get | 15% off your plan and a partner team | A commission on purchases made through your link |
If recommending fits your work better, the affiliate program has the details.
How to start as a Dedupely partner
Apply on the partner page, then sign up with the same email once your partner account is ready. Then book your setup call with the partner team, and bring your first client's questions to it.
One account for all your client work
The partner program fits anyone who cleans CRMs for clients, whether it's one project or ongoing care. Every client stays separate, pricing follows the records across all of them, and the partner team is there when a client's data gets complicated.
How you bill and how much of the work you take on stays your decision. The program gives you the account, the discount and the support to deliver it.
Frequently asked questions
How much is the Dedupely partner discount?
Partners get 15% off the Dedupely plan their clients' total synced records qualify for. The discount also applies with yearly billing, and paying yearly saves you 20% compared to paying monthly. Current plans and record limits are listed on Dedupely's pricing page.
How is the plan for a partner account calculated?
By adding up the synced records across all your clients' CRMs. Three clients with 20,000, 40,000 and 30,000 records make 90,000, which falls in the Pro plan. Spreadsheets don't count, and Dedupely never upgrades your plan automatically.
Are there requirements to become a Dedupely partner?
No, beyond the application form. It asks for your contact details, company and role, the CRMs you work with and whether you do one-off or ongoing work. The partner account is ready within 48 hours, and then you sign up with the same email.
Who pays for Dedupely when a partner cleans a client's CRM?
The partner holds the subscription and decides. Some partners pass the cost through to each client, while others include Dedupely in their own fee. Either way, the plan is based on the total records across all the partner's clients, with the partner discount applied.
What is the difference between Dedupely's partner and affiliate programs?
Partners clean their clients' CRMs themselves, from one partner account, with 15% off and a partner team. Affiliates recommend Dedupely instead: each client has its own account, and the affiliate earns a commission on purchases made through a referral link.
