Pipedrive merges two people with the same name and email. It does the same for a shared phone or organization. Two records you meant to keep become one.

Questions about Pipedrive imports

How many rows can Pipedrive import?

Up to 50,000 rows and 50 MB a file, in XLS, XLSX or CSV.

What does Pipedrive need in every row?

A person name for people and an organization name for organizations. Without it the row goes to the skip file.

How does Pipedrive find duplicates on import?

People with the same name and the same email, phone or organization are merged. Organizations with the same name and address are merged. Deals are never merged.

Why do my deal values show as 0?

Pipedrive reads a value with a currency sign as 0. Write 1000, not $1,000, and put the currency code in its own column.

Can I undo a Pipedrive import?

An admin can revert it from the import history within 48 hours.
