GDPR Fair Processing Notice
What we need
Dedupely Software Inc. (11871 Horseshoe Way #1103, Richmond, BC V7A 5H5 Canada) will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data and CRM data. This does include name, company name, address, email, CRM login credentials, CRM data, etc. All of the information we request from you is required unless specified with the word “optional” beside the form field.
How we collect your data
We collect your data when you sign in with your CRM account (via an API) or provide it to us through the signup and/or payment forms. We may also use 3rd party services to collect basic personal data and billing information. Other server logging data may track your visits, browsers, devices and IP address to the Dedupely site.
Why we need it
We need your CRM data to provide you with deduplication services. We need your personal and billing data for support, and your invoices. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide this service to you.
Logging data is used to prevent DDOS attacks, debugging and other security defenses.
What we do with it
All personal and CRM data is processed and stored on servers located on secure cloud networks in the US.
We do not rent, sell or share your personal or CRM data with any external 3rd party. We do not share information between products owned by us, without your consent. We only disclose your information to another parties when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your email in our newsletter until you unsubscribe.
Canadian tax law requires us to keep your basic personal data for 6 years. After that time we destroy it.
Your CRM data is stored for up to 180 days after cancellation, or removed per request by user. Our server backups flush and rotate every 7 days.
Our server logs are rotated up to every 30 days.
What we would also may do with it
If you have joined our newsletter(s), we will send you Dedupely product updates and offers. You can stop receiving these emails by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email or in your account notification settings. You can also contact our support team and request to unsubscribe.
At times, we will send you emails about your billing subscription, Dedupely news, updates and product offers.
We will send you automated alerts about your Dedupely account. You can turn these off in your account notification settings.
What happens if Dedupely gets acquired?
If Dedupely happens to be sold, the acquiring party becomes the new controller. All GDPR laws still apply regardless of the jurisdiction.
What are your rights?
If you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you can request to see it by email. You may also request to have it changed or removed.
If you believe we are not complying with the law, you can write a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
